California Pest Control Continuing Education Courses Online — SPCB Approved. If you hold a California structural pest control license — whether you’re an Applicator, Field Representative, or Operator — you’re required to complete continuing education (CE) hours before your renewal deadline. California licensed Operators, Field Representatives, and Applicators must renew their license by June 30th every three years. The number of hours depends on your license type and the branches you carry.
All continuing education credits must be completed no later than midnight on June 30th of your expiration year to count toward your credit requirement. If you don’t complete your CE on time, you’ll need to re-test with the SPCB.

California Pest Control Field Representative & Operator Continuing Education Requirements
Field Reps and Operators need 16 to 24 hours depending on how many branches they hold. Licensees are required to complete 8 hours of Rules & Regulations, 4 Technical hours in each branch, and 4 additional hours. Those licensed in Branch 2 and/or 3 must include 2 hours of IPM.
