Understanding the Label, SDS and Toxicity

Anyone applying chemicals needs to have a solid knowledge of the pesticide label and what each section means.  The signal word on a label is the first indication, in your decision of selecting a chemical product. As an applicator you must be familiar with the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and the Hazard Communication Standard Pictogram. This course covers the four toxicity categories of signal words and the LD 50 and LC 50 of those categories.
